Workshop in School
I think it would be wonderful idea to have career guidance workshops and sessions in the school. We can build a team of Senior Alumni Members from each stream and visit the school to help the students of class XIIth.
I guess it would be best to have these workshops in January. Students must be highly stressed these days due to upcoming board and entrance examinations. Alumni members can share their experiences on how to mentally prepare for board examinations.
Besides many students from class XIIth are confused about their career. They don't know what is best for their life. Students end up doing what other do. They just follow the rat race. May be its because of the pressure from the family and also the peers. It is very important to identify your interests and goal in life at a very early stage in life. By discussing these issues with Alumni members students can make better decisions about their career.
So guys what do you think? Who all would like to participate? Also please share your views on this.

Thats right that it should be done from class Xth, but even class XIIth students needs help in deciding about their future. They have so many questions in their mind and they make mistakes by following others.

I think its not that much of XII class who needs councelling... its rather the class X who needs it most.
in class XII you have already chosen a stream of studies for you and you get enough exposure on what you gonna do in the recent future years. It is actually class X where a person has to make a real choice. Also, it is that actual time when parents impose their decisions on kids and kids are not able to express their own wishes.
I think you should start with class X.

i think its a great idea,I would surely like to help student of XII class and specially for those children, who are intrested in journalism or mass communication. and 1 main reason is that mostly children even dont have any idea about new courses like journalism and mass communcation. this is a best way to give guidance. so whenever you need my help i m always there

I think its a great idea! We have lawers, accounts people, BPO people, IT and many more....a great way to give guidance on the realities and practicality of our education! would be really good for not only 12th but also younger students before they decide on the stream they want to chooe...

This is the very reason I wanted our alumni association to be formed. I would surely like to help XIIthies. :)
